Alun Wyn Jones, Wales’ captain, expressed his devastation following another defeat in the Six Nations Championship.
Speaking to the media after the match, Jones said, It’s a tough one to take. We put in a lot of effort, but it wasn’t enough. We need to go away and look at ourselves in the mirror and see where we can improve.
The loss leaves Wales with just one win from their first four matches in the tournament. They are now facing an uphill battle to qualify for the knockout stages.
Rugby icon Gareth Edwards has issued a caution to the Wales team, urging them to improve their discipline.
Edwards, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest rugby players of all time, said, Wales need to cut down on the penalties. They are giving away too many easy points and it’s costing them games.
Edwards also called on the team to show more leadership on the field. He said, They need to take ownership of their performances and not rely on the coaches to tell them what to do.
Wales will be hoping to bounce back from their disappointing start to the Six Nations when they face Scotland in their next match.

Kind regards C. Dixon.
