NFL International Series Features Five Games Across London, Munich and Mexico City
The National Football League (NFL)’s International Series will return in 2023 with five games scheduled to take place across London, Munich, and Mexico City, the league announced today.
The series will kick off on October 1 with the New York Jets taking on the Minnesota Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. This will be the first regular season NFL game played in the United Kingdom since 2019.
The Jacksonville Jaguars will play two international games this season, hosting the Denver Broncos at Wembley Stadium in London on October 30 and the San Francisco 49ers at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on November 13.
The Buffalo Bills will face the Tennessee Titans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 9, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the Seattle Seahawks at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, on November 13.
“We are excited to bring the NFL International Series back to our fans in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Mexico this year,” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. “These games provide a unique opportunity for our fans around the world to experience the NFL live and in person.”
The NFL International Series has been a major success since its inception in 2007, with over 2.8 million fans attending games in London, Mexico City, and Germany. The series has also helped to grow the NFL’s popularity around the world, with over 200 million fans in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Mexico.
