Red Bull’s AlphaTauri team has announced that Yuki Tsunoda will assist its partner team, McLaren, during qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix.
Tsunoda will provide technical support to McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo, who is struggling for form this season.
The Japanese driver will be on hand to help Ricciardo with data analysis and provide feedback on the car’s performance.
Tsunoda has impressed in his rookie season in Formula 1, scoring points in three of the last four races. His performances have caught the eye of McLaren, who are looking to improve Ricciardo’s results.
Ricciardo has had a difficult season, failing to score points in five of the last six races. The Australian driver has been outpaced by his teammate, Lando Norris, and is under pressure to improve his performances.

Kind regards A. Guthof.
