iQOO’s latest Z-series smartphones, the Z9S and Z9S Pro, will be making their way to India next month.
The iQOO Z9S series was initially launched in China in May 2022.
iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Z9S series will be launching in India in August 2022. The series includes two models – the iQOO Z9S and iQOO Z9S Pro – and will be the successors to the iQOO Z8 series that was launched in India last year.
The iQOO Z9S and Z9S Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, which is a 6nm octa-core processor with four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores.
The iQOO Z9S will feature a 6.64-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the iQOO Z9S Pro will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
In terms of cameras, the iQOO Z9S will have a triple-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The iQOO Z9S Pro will have a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Both the iQOO Z9S and Z9S Pro will have a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.

Pricing and availability
The iQOO Z9S series is expected to be priced between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 35,000 in India. The series will be available through iQOO’s official website, Amazon India, and offline retailers.
