Top Rank Boxing has signed Japanese sensation Junto Nakatani to a multi-year promotional contract, it was announced today by Top Rank chairman Bob Arum.
A Rising Star in the Super Featherweight Division
Nakatani (23-0, 18 KOs), a 24-year-old southpaw from Osaka, Japan, is one of the most promising young fighters in the super featherweight division.
He has won his last 12 fights by knockout, including victories over former world title challengers Juan Carlos Burgos and Javier Fortuna.
Nakatani is currently ranked No. 1 by the WBO and No. 2 by the WBC at 130 pounds.
