The Pittsburgh Steelers’ chances of winning the AFC North are dismal, according to ESPN’s Brooke Fittipaldo. Fittipaldo gave the Steelers a 7% chance of winning the division in her latest power rankings. The Steelers are currently in last place in the AFC North with a 2-6 record.
Here are some of the reasons why Fittipaldo believes the Steelers’ chances of winning the AFC North are so low:
- The Steelers have a difficult remaining schedule, including games against the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals.
- The Steelers have been plagued by injuries this season, including to key players like quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wide receiver Antonio Brown.
- The Steelers have not played well in close games this season, losing four of their six games by a touchdown or less.
Fittipaldo’s assessment of the Steelers’ chances is in line with that of other analysts. The Steelers are currently a long shot to win the AFC North, and their chances of making the playoffs are also slim. However, the Steelers have a history of overcoming long odds, and they will need to do so again if they want to have a chance at winning the division.
Kind regards J. Brown.
