Stars’ resilience shines through in pivotal Game 6
The Dallas Stars have punched their ticket to the second round of the playoffs after defeating the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2 in Game 6 on Tuesday night at American Airlines Center. The win knots the series at 3-3 and sets up a winner-take-all Game 7 in Las Vegas on Thursday.
Stars’ top line leads the way
The Stars were led by their top line of Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, and Alexander Radulov, who combined for three goals and four assists. Seguin scored twice, including the game-winner late in the third period, while Benn and Radulov each had a goal and an assist.
Khudobin, defensive unit step up
Stars goaltender Anton Khudobin was solid in net, stopping 32 of 34 shots. The Stars’ defensive unit also played well, blocking 15 shots and limiting the Golden Knights to just 17 shots on goal in the third period.
Series shifts to Vegas for Game 7
The series now shifts to Vegas for Game 7 on Thursday night. The winner will advance to the second round to face the Colorado Avalanche.
