I think maybe I had taken my training and football a little bit for granted before. I wasn’t pushing myself or expecting the best from myself. But when I got called up for Scotland, I realized that I could be one of the best. It made me appreciate my talent more and realize that I needed to work harder to keep improving.
Increased Training Intensity

The training with Scotland was absolutely brutal, but in a good way. I had never trained so hard or been pushed so far. It was tough at times, but I loved it. I knew that if I wanted to stay in the team, I had to keep up. So I increased the intensity of my own training and started working out more often.
