Saturday Accumulator – 6/1 May 11th Premier League Picks
Burnley vs Aston Villa
After a strong start to life under Sean Dyche, Burnley have picked up only one point from their last four games. With survival all but secured, the Clarets may ease off in the remaining fixtures. It could be a long afternoon for the Lancashire club against an Aston Villa side who have won three of their last four on the road and are targeting a top-half finish.
Selection: Aston Villa to win.
Fulham vs Southampton
Fulham are almost certain to join Bournemouth in being relegated back to the Championship. The Cottagers have lost each of their last five games and have shipped 10 goals in the process. Southampton are not in great form themselves but should be too strong for the Cottagers.
Selection: Southampton to win (draw no bet).
Man City vs Newcastle
Manchester City have won 10 of their last 11 Premier League games and are still in the hunt for a treble. Newcastle have won just one of their last seven Premier League outings and the gulf in class should be apparent at the Etihad Stadium. The hosts are likely to rest players ahead of the Champions League semi-final second leg on Wednesday, but they should still be too strong for the Magpies.
Selection: Manchester City to win.
Norwich vs Brighton
Norwich are already down and Brighton’s survival has been assured. The Canaries have lost their last four Premier League games and have not won at home in the league since October. Brighton have lost their last three Premier League away games and have not won on the road since February. This could be a tight match.
Selection: No bet.
Sheffield United vs Wolves
Sheffield United have lost eight of their last 10 Premier League games and are in danger of being relegated to the Championship. Wolves are in good form and have won four of their last five Premier League games. The Blades have a lot of quality in their squad but they may just run out of time.
Selection: Wolves to win.
West Ham vs Man Utd
West Ham have won their last three Premier League games and are still in the hunt for a European spot. Manchester United have won their last three Premier League games and are also in the hunt for a European spot. This could be a tight match.
Selection: No bet.
