David Perron
The Oilers could use a veteran presence on the wing, and Perron would fit the bill perfectly. He’s a skilled skater with a good shot and can play on either wing.
Tyler Bozak
Bozak is a reliable centerman who can provide some offense and help out on the penalty kill. He’s not the most exciting player, but he’s a good all-around player who can help the Oilers win games.
Paul Stastny
Stastny is another veteran centerman who can still produce offensively. He’s not as good as he used to be, but he can still be a valuable contributor to a team.
Defensemen
Kris Russell
Russell is a stay-at-home defenseman who can block shots and kill penalties. He’s not the most offensively gifted player, but he can help the Oilers defensively.
Anton Stralman
Stralman is a veteran defenseman who can play both the left and right side. He’s a good skater and can move the puck well.
Goalies
Cam Talbot
Talbot is a veteran goalie who has had some success in the NHL. He’s not the most consistent goalie, but he can be a good option for a team looking for a backup goalie.
Anton Forsberg
Forsberg is a young goalie who has shown some potential. He’s not ready to be a starting goalie yet, but he could be a good option for a team looking for a backup goalie.
These are just a few of the potential UFA veterans that the Oilers could target in 2025. They would all be good additions to the team and could help the Oilers compete for a Stanley Cup.
Kind regards R. Bauer.
