Oilers’ McDavid and Draisaitl Lead Charge
Edmonton, AB –
The Edmonton Oilers defeated the Vancouver Canucks 4-2 in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series on Wednesday night at Rogers Place. The win evened the series at 2-2.
Connor McDavid led the way for the Oilers with a goal and an assist, while Leon Draisaitl added a goal and two assists. Kailer Yamamoto and Zach Hyman also scored for Edmonton.
It was a huge win for us, said McDavid. We needed to get one at home, and we did it. We’re feeling good about ourselves, but we know we have a long way to go.
The Canucks were led by Brock Boeser, who scored both of their goals.
It was a tough loss, said Boeser. We played hard, but we came up short. We need to be better in Game 5.
