Effective January 10, 2023
United Airlines’ MileagePlus program is making changes to the miles required for business class award flights within Europe and Asia. These changes will take effect on January 10, 2023.
Europe
- Off-peak: 50,000 miles (up from 45,000 miles)
- Peak: 60,000 miles (up from 55,000 miles)
Asia
- Off-peak: 70,000 miles (up from 65,000 miles)
- Peak: 80,000 miles (up from 75,000 miles)
These changes do not affect the miles required for economy class award flights within Europe and Asia.
MileagePlus members who have already booked business class award flights within Europe or Asia for travel on or after January 10, 2023 will not be affected by these changes.
