Mere 16 Russians Secure Paris Olympic Berths
Despite the Russian Athletics Federation (RusAF) remaining suspended since 2015 due to a state-sponsored doping scandal, 16 Russian athletes have qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The athletes have qualified through the World Athletics World Rankings system, which allocates spots to the top-ranked athletes in each event. Of the 16 qualifiers, 10 are women and six are men.
