Tierney Appointed as Head of Academy
Liverpool FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Brian Tierney as the Club’s new Head of Academy. Tierney joins the Reds from his previous role as Technical Director at the US Soccer Development Academy. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having also held positions at Everton and Manchester United, and his appointment is a key step in the Club’s continued commitment to developing young talent.
AXA Deal Struck
Liverpool FC has agreed a new multi-year partnership with AXA, one of the world’s leading insurance and asset management companies. The deal will see AXA become the Club’s Official Training Kit Partner, with their logo appearing on the front of the training kits worn by the first team and Academy players. The partnership further strengthens Liverpool FC’s commercial portfolio and will provide AXA with access to the Club’s global fan base.
Parade Update
The City of Liverpool has confirmed that the parade to celebrate Liverpool FC’s Premier League title win will take place on Sunday, 24th May. The parade will start at 4pm from Allerton Maze and will travel through the city center, before finishing at the Pier Head. Fans are encouraged to line the streets and cheer on the team as they celebrate their historic achievement.
