Anfield Update
Liverpool FC have announced plans to expand the capacity of Anfield by 7,000 seats, bringing the total capacity to over 61,000. The expansion will take place in two phases, with the first phase scheduled to begin in the summer of 2023 and be completed by the start of the 2024/25 season. The second phase is expected to be completed by the start of the 2026/27 season.
Left-Back Loan
Liverpool FC have loaned out young left-back Owen Beck to Rochdale AFC for the remainder of the season. Beck, 19, has made six appearances for Liverpool’s first team, and this loan move will give him the opportunity to gain more regular playing time.
