Konate and Ramsay to return to training
Liverpool duo Ibrahima Konate and Calvin Ramsay are set to return to training next week after recovering from their respective injuries.
Konate has been out since August with a knee injury, while Ramsay has been sidelined since pre-season with a back problem.
The pair’s return will be a boost for Jurgen Klopp’s squad, who have been without a number of key players in recent weeks.
Van den Berg bid rejected
Liverpool have rejected a £15 million bid from PSV Eindhoven for defender Sepp van den Berg.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a move away from Anfield in recent months, but Liverpool are keen to keep him.
Van den Berg has made 10 appearances for Liverpool’s first team, and is seen as a potential long-term replacement for Joel Matip.
