Liverpool’s Assistant Manager Pep Lijnders Future Club Revealed
Liverpool’s assistant manager Pep Lijnders has revealed that he hopes to one day manage his hometown club NEC Nijmegen in the Netherlands.
The Dutchman has been a key part of Jurgen Klopp’s coaching staff since 2018, helping the Reds to win the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup.
Speaking to Dutch publication De Gelderlander, Lijnders said: I have a dream to one day become head coach of NEC. I would love to give something back to the club where I grew up.
Lijnders spent eight years as a youth coach at NEC before leaving to join Liverpool in 2014.
Liverpool Squad Revelation
Liverpool have revealed their squad for the upcoming pre-season tour of Asia.
The Reds will play four matches in Thailand, Singapore, and Japan during the tour, which will serve as preparation for the 2023/24 season.
The squad includes new signing Darwin Nunez, as well as returning loanee Fabio Carvalho.

Liverpool Goalkeeper Departures
Liverpool have confirmed the departures of goalkeepers Loris Karius and Adrian.
Karius joined the Reds from Mainz in 2016 but made just 29 appearances for the club, including two in the Champions League final.
Adrian joined Liverpool on a free transfer in 2019 and made 24 appearances in all competitions, including two in the Champions League.
Both players were out of contract this summer and have now left the club.
