The veteran quarterback has lost some mobility, but his arm strength remains a major asset.
Russell Wilson may not be the same player he was when he led the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl title in 2013, but he still possesses the arm talent that made him one of the most feared quarterbacks in the NFL.
Wilson, now 33, has lost some mobility in recent years, but his arm strength remains a major asset. He can still make all the throws, from short slants to deep outs and corner routes. He also has the ability to throw the ball with great accuracy and touch.
Wilson’s arm talent was on full display in the Broncos’ preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys. He completed 10 of 14 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown. He also showed off his mobility, rushing for 28 yards on three carries.
The Broncos are hoping that Wilson can help them return to the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
Here are a few of Wilson’s best throws from the preseason opener:
Wilson’s arm talent is still a major asset for the Broncos. If he can stay healthy and avoid turnovers, he could help the Broncos make a run at the playoffs.
