Miura to drive No. 99 Toyota Supra for B.J. McLeod Motorsports
35-year-old native of Osaka, Japan, is the first Japanese driver to compete full-time in the NASCAR Euro Series
Japanese Euro NASCAR driver Kenko Miura will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Chicago Street Course on July 1, 2023, driving the No. 99 Toyota Supra for B.J. McLeod Motorsports.
Miura, 35, is a native of Osaka, Japan, and is the first Japanese driver to compete full-time in the NASCAR Euro Series. He has won two races in the Euro Series, including the season-opening race at Valencia in 2022.
I am very excited to make my NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Chicago, Miura said. It is a dream come true to race in one of the top NASCAR series in the world. I have been working hard to prepare for this moment, and I am confident that I can be competitive.
Miura is a veteran of international racing, having competed in the Japanese Super GT Series, the Blancpain GT Series Asia, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
He has also tested a NASCAR Cup Series car for Rick Ware Racing in 2022.

The Xfinity Series race at Chicago Street Course will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023. The race will be televised live on FS1.
