A Change of Pace
After a disappointing start to the 2023 season, Haas F1 Team has made significant progress in recent races thanks to a technical overhaul. The team’s new car, the VF-23, has shown improved performance, and driver Nico Hulkenberg believes that Haas can continue to challenge for points in the remaining races.
Surprising Results
We’ve been pleasantly surprised by the progress we’ve made since the technical overhaul, said Hulkenberg. The car is much more drivable now, and we’re able to fight for points on a more consistent basis.
The team’s improved performance was evident at the recent Canadian Grand Prix, where Hulkenberg finished eighth. It was Haas’s first points-paying finish of the season, and it gave the team a much-needed boost in morale.
Reasons for Success
Hulkenberg believes that several factors have contributed to Haas’s recent success. First, the team has made significant improvements to the car’s aerodynamics. This has resulted in a more stable car that is easier to drive at high speeds.
Second, the team has made changes to the car’s suspension. This has improved the car’s handling, making it more responsive and agile.
Looking Ahead
Hulkenberg is confident that Haas can continue to improve its performance in the remaining races of the season. The team has a number of upgrades planned for the car, and Hulkenberg believes that these upgrades will help the team to close the gap to the front-runners.
We’re still not where we want to be, but we’re making progress, said Hulkenberg. I believe that we can continue to improve and challenge for even better results in the future.
Kind regards A. Guthof.
