Portuguese Giants Benfica have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Heidenheim forward Jan-Niklas Beste.
The 23-year-old has been in impressive form for the 2. Bundesliga side this season, scoring 11 goals in 22 appearances.
According to reports in Germany, Beste has agreed a four-year contract with Benfica and will move to Portugal in the summer.
Beste is a versatile forward who can play as a central striker or on the wing. He is a good goalscorer and has also shown a good eye for a pass.
He joined Heidenheim from Werder Bremen in 2020 and has quickly established himself as a key player for the club.
Benfica are one of the biggest clubs in Portugal and have a strong track record of developing young players.
Beste will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of other German players who have been successful at Benfica, such as Julian Draxler and Mario Gotze.
Kind regards
