Presidents of Germany and Turkey discuss regional conflicts and bilateral relations
German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Thursday to discuss regional conflicts and bilateral relations.
The two leaders discussed the situation in the Middle East, including the ongoing conflicts in Syria and Libya. They also discussed the issue of migration and the need for international cooperation to address the challenges it poses.
In a joint press conference after the meeting, Steinmeier said that he and Erdogan had discussed a wide range of issues, and that they had agreed to continue working together to address the challenges facing the region.

Erdogan said that he was pleased to meet with Steinmeier and that he looked forward to continuing the dialogue between the two countries.
