Starting from pole position, Da Costa led every lap in his DS Techeetah, crossing the line with a comfortable margin of over five seconds.
Cassidy’s Woes
Nick Cassidy, who had been in contention for the championship, endured a difficult race in Portland. The Envision Virgin Racing driver started from third but made a poor start and dropped down the order. He struggled to regain his pace and eventually finished a disappointing 14th, losing valuable points in the championship standings.
Da Costa’s Commanding Performance
