Terence Crawford vs. Janibek Alimkhanuly
The main event of Top Rank’s December 10th card is a doozy, as pound-for-pound king Terence “Bud” Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) defends his WBO welterweight title against unbeaten mandatory challenger Janibek Alimkhanuly (12-0, 8 KOs). Crawford is one of the most dominant fighters in boxing, having won world titles in three weight classes and never tasting defeat. Alimkhanuly is a rising star who has stopped all but one of his opponents and is looking to make a statement against the best in the division.
Jermell Charlo vs. Tim Tszyu
In the co-main event, WBC, WBA, and IBF junior middleweight champion Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs) puts his titles on the line against undefeated challenger Tim Tszyu (21-0, 15 KOs). Charlo is one of the best fighters in the world, regardless of weight class, and has won his last four fights by knockout. Tszyu is a rising star who is looking to follow in the footsteps of his legendary father, Kostya Tszyu. This is a battle of two of the best young fighters in boxing, and it could be a Fight of the Year candidate.
Xander Zayas vs. Elias Espadas
Zayas is one of the most promising young fighters in boxing, and he will be looking to make a statement against Espadas. Espadas is a tough veteran who has never been stopped, but Zayas is a big favorite in this one. If Zayas can get past Espadas, he could be in line for a title shot in the near future.
