Caitlin Clark, the standout guard for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team, has been selected as an alternate for the U.S. Olympic Women’s Basketball Team. This prestigious honor recognizes Clark’s exceptional talent and her status as one of the most promising young players in the country.
Clark’s Impressive Resume
At just 19 years old, Clark has already accomplished a remarkable amount in her basketball career. She was the nation’s top recruit in the Class of 2020 and has since emerged as a dominant force for the Hawkeyes. In her sophomore season, she led the country in scoring and assists, becoming the first player in NCAA history to lead both categories. She also set an NCAA single-game record with 46 points and 15 assists in a game against Drake.
