The Ministry of Education has finally Announced the official dates for the appointment of 20,000 contracted teachers. The long-awaited announcement was made by the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry, Bempah Tetteh, at a press conference in Accra, on Tuesday, 1st June 2021.
Application Date
Interested applicants can apply online through the Ministry of Education’s website from Friday, June 4, 2021 to Sunday, June 13, 2021. Application is expected to begin at 12:00 GMT on Friday, June 4, 2021 and end at 11:59 GMT on Sunday, June 13, 2021. The online application portal will be accessible at: https://moe.gov.gh/apply-for-teaching-position/.
Requirements
Selection Process
Applicants will be shortlisted based on their applications and will be invited for an interview. Interviews will be conducted in all the regional capitals across the country.
Important Dates
- Application opens: Friday, June 4, 2021, at 12:00 GMT.
- Application closes: Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 11:59 GMT.
- Shortlisting of applicants: Monday, June 14, 2021.
- Interviews: Monday, June 21, 2021 – Friday, June 25, 2021.
- Announcement of successful candidates: Monday, June 28, 2021.
