Wilmington, DE –
On Saturday evening, a motorcycle crash involving a vehicle occurred in Wilmington, Delaware.
According to the investigating authorities, the motorcyclist was traveling east on Holly Oak Road when, for unknown reasons, he left the roadway and entered the westbound lane. The motorcyclist then struck a car that was traveling westbound on Holly Oak Road. The impact of the crash caused the motorcyclist to be ejected from his motorcycle and suffer serious injuries.
The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in critical condition. The driver of the car was not injured.
The Delaware State Police is currently investigating the crash. No charges have been filed at this time.
