One of Italy’s most famous events, the Palio di Siena is a horse race that takes place in the Piazza del Campo, the main square of Siena. The race is preceded by a colourful parade of horses and riders representing the city’s 17 districts.
Festa del Redentore

This festival commemorates the end of the plague in Venice in 1576. It features a huge fireworks display over the Saint Mark’s Basin, as well as regattas, concerts, and other events.
Disfida di Barletta
